Legal Policy

Rattan is not on the list of items banned from export in accordance with the law. Therefore, enterprises can export and carry out normal rattan export procedures.

The customs dossier for export of rattan includes the following documents and documents:

Phytosanitary when carrying out procedures for exporting rattan

A dossier of phytosanitary registration for rattan includes:

  • Phytosanitary registration certificate (According to the form of the quarantine agency specified in Appendix IV issued together with Circular 33/2014/TT-BNNPTNT);
  • Contracts for sale and purchase of goods, bills of lading, packing slips if any;
  • Power of attorney of shipper (In case the registrant is a person authorized by the shipper);
  • The rattan sample of the shipment needs quarantine.

If the shipment meets the quarantine requirements of the importing country, the Plant Quarantine Agency will issue a phytosanitary certificate to the enterprise. And vice versa.
